Probably should follow up like I said I would regarding the Monteluz/Andalusia release last Saturday. Well, the fire’s out.
Okay, not really, because they still sold 19 of 23 homes, but compared to what it was, it’s definitely fair to call it a slow down. Seemed like attendance was half to maybe two thirds of what it’s been and there were plenty of deferrals. On that front, it would seem the deferers can’t be waiting for much because these are some of the best lots. This makes me think it’s either price or people just aren’t in the position to buy (e.g. house to sell).
They’re still doing better than a lot of developments I think, but this has to give the builder at least a little pause for concern.
