What sp doesnt realize is we grew up in the 70’s and 80’s surrounded by drugs in the mainstream. The drinking age was 18 which meant many high school seniors were drinking legally. Most of us had quality fake id’s and were drinking in bars at 15 and 16. We didnt grow up in vacuums. If a cop pulled you over with beer in the car they made you pour it out and told you to drop off your friends and drive home.
However, we grew up in positive environments with great schools and safe environments that gave us the tools, self confidence and strength to deal with all that. We ended up successful doctors, lawyers, CPA’s, business owners and entrepreneurs because of where we came from. Why would we want anything different for our kids.
