Yup. I never paid a house cleaner except for moving out of a new apartment before having a kid. Given the choice between spending a couple hours on the weekend cleaning or taking him to the beach, playground, etc, it’s worth it to us to have more family time.
We pay $90 every two weeks to clean our 3/2 SFH. She spends most of her time in the kitchen, along with scrubbing the sinks, bathtub and toilets.[/quote]
Totally agree. I could spend the time cleaning on a weekend, but choose to spend the money so I have more time with the family. Plus, I’m in the business of selling time (CPA) and it makes more financial sense to outsource the cleaning based on the hourly rate my time is billed at.
