Perhaps you missed the part about the job opportunity. If I were to take that job, I would need to live somewhere within a reasonable commute to work.
My question is not about the relative worth of this property to one in central Illinois, but rather whether it represented good value in the current Carslbad/Vista market.
Others have pointed out the poor location, which is good information to know. Obviously I wouldn’t buy a house sight unseen, but I’d like to have a list of properties to check out when I do visit. I can strike this one off my list.
