People will eat pizza, that’s the next cheapest thing to fast food/burgers. I predict there will be a longer line for pizza at Costco. And longer lines for people buying Vespas 🙂
As far as gas prices, since people are walking away from their overpriced homes that have lost significant value that they can’t afford, do you think since their credit is already marred, that they will be walking away from all those big gas guzzling SUVs? I mean, that’s got to be hurting about now. Payments, insurance, and gas. They can’t sell it. No one wants to buy those gas hogs. Trade-in is almost 1/2 what they paid a year ago. SUVs are not moving at dealers. Looks like an SUV cemetary.
I saw diesel at the local station at $5.45 in PB. How high is diesel going to go. Not too long ago it was cheaper than regular gas, something like 2 bucks. This is killing truckers and will be killing us b/c whatever they ship will be more costly for us.
Stand by for more Mexican trucks on the road. They are selling diesel at two dollars a gallon USD. Some people are driving down there and filling up. They still have to wait in line and remember new diesel trucks can’t take Mexican gas b/c it’s not low sulfur. Newer diesel trucks have CATs.
