While I agree it could happen what you see with the Goldfinch house is an opportunity. At 465K it looks like a very nice deal. It could sell around that because of the circumstances around it. That homes is set to be sold quickly and if a buyer catches a slow window in demand, well thats how you win in this market.
That market is not directly correlated to homes being sold by folks with time to wait. RE is such a one off market. While I’m not saying you wont see prime properties reach those levels, a trust sale at this time of year does not automatically portend a major market shift.
