Pell Place has 5 Floorplans ranging from 748 to 1246 square feet. Ranging from 1 bedroom 1 bath to 2 bedroom 2 bath (including a floorplan that lays out like a dual master floorplan). I live in the largest unit and can share information on that floorplan.
Approx 1250 sq ft
A huge great room (nook and family) spans approximately 22′ x 14′. The kitchen is extremely large at approximately 15′ x 10′ (basically the kitchen and great room are the size you would find in a Single Family Detached Home aka SFD). Both bedrooms have walk-in closets of a decent size for a condo. We have a deck located off the family room that includes a small storage closet (about the size of a small bedroom closet). A walk-in laundry room however I believe all the smaller sized condos at Pell Place have closet washer/dryers. We have 2 side by side parking spaces (not tandem parking) located in the underground parking garage along with a bike storage location. To the best of my knowledge, some of the units offer 2 side-by-side parking, some offer 2 tandem parking spaces and some of the smallest 1 bedroom units offer 1 parking space.
The floorplan we live in (approx 1250 sq ft) is the largest at Pell Place. They are limited as there are only approximately 25 floorplans of this size in a total of 316 units. Making this a popular layout. However another popular layout is the 2 bedroom 2 bathroom approx 1000 sq ft because it offers offers dual masters.
The 3 buildings at Pell Place are different sizes. The first building has 79 units, the second building (where the putting green is located) is a little larger and the last building is the largest with over 100 units. Pell Place does not have a pool. Torrey Pines State Beach is 2 miles away.
LUXURY
All the condos at Pell Place were new construction and granite was standard (so we have granite counters). We have stainless steel appliances because that was an option when we purchased, but some condos have black and/or white appliances).
We enjoy watching the hot air balloons from our deck. Pell Place also offers a gym, a putting green, and courtyard BBQs. The HOA does not allow for individual condos to have a BBQ on the private decks (my husband wishes we could have a BBQ on our deck).
LOCATION
I already talked a lot about the location in my first posting. To sum it up, Pell Place is located in Del Mar Highlands Carmel Valley area walking distance to the Del Mar Highlands Town Center offering Jimbos, Starbucks, Barnes and Nobel, a movie theater, more shopping, restaurants, breakfast bagels (yum), and more!! The Town Center is under renovation and will have more restaurants and a luxury theater in Summer 2011.
Pell Place is less than 2 miles to the ocean and famed Torrey Pines State Beach! Access the Del Mar Race Track without getting on the 5 freeway. Del Mar, Rancho Santa Fe, La Jolla, Solana Beach, Cardiff, and Carmel Valley, Pacific Beach, and Encinitas are all nearby!

Pell Place is a dog-friendly condo; however we do not have a dog so i am not sure what the restrictions are.
