patientlywaiting – I agree. I have see some deals downtown and I would consider something there, but I want a garage, not underground parking. But for some people who don’t care about a garage will see downtown as an opportunity and buy something there, as opposed to the coast. That may mean that prices might not immediately drop along the coast, but sales will slow some more b/c people will buy elsewhere and consequently, when some people need to sell, may eventually reduce to close.
