Paddy: It’s not vitriol. These are simply observations that have come from life experiences.
I guess I’m a little old-fashioned in the sense of expecting folks to have a work ethic, be somewhat stoic in the face of adversity and learn to adapt.

EEhhh (buzzer ringing )
Off point again Allan.
This post is about asking Jeff Bridges to dump the Hyundai ads.
You just lost two more points and you were already running a major deficit. No bailouts on this forum.
Don’t need no Saltpeter. You are wasting valuable time.
Sorry. Off topic again Allan. You have run out of chips and, thanks to Rt.66, your point of view died about 20 posts ago. It’s just the nervous system keeping you alive now.
Time for Jeff Bridges to bail out of the Hyundai ads. Buck forty nine a gallon gas for a year ain’t gonna cut it. GM wins.[/quote]
Paddy: Uh, dude? That last post wasn’t mine.
And, by the way, why is it time for Jeff Bridges to bail out of the Hyundai ads? Isn’t he allowed freedom of choice? For that matter, aren’t all Americans?
Or is the only acceptable choice your choice?
You couch your exhortations in very propagandistic terms, similar to something we’d see from the WWII era (“Buy a Chevy or LOSE YOUR JOB!”), and you employ a recursive sort of logic, but you don’t logically or objectively explain why Jeff Bridges has to quit making Hyundai ads (other than they apparently demoralize us).
Again: Doesn’t Jeff Bridges enjoy freedom of choice? Doesn’t he have the right to chose how he spends his time?
Did you come from organized labor? I only ask because of the strident Stalinist approach you take. You’re not related to Eugene Debs, are you?
