On related note, Where is the Anthrax killer? Rendition is sometimes required and if so why NOT in this case. Someone killed 5 people with the deadly warfare agent and injured 17 and now the feds (my money) paid $5M to Hatfield for (feds) ostensibly doing nothing wrong. As soon as Hatfield is mentioned, all mailing stop, makes the feds think, Hmmm. And the cover up with the reporters who “forget” where they got the source info. Why is the press details hidden and covered up? What are the 5 reporters hiding? The source for the anthrax is most likely someone like Hatfield, very very few people have access to that specific agent. Contrary to scaremail, deadly agents are extremely difficult to make outside full scale lab. So, if the mailing continued weekly, would not rendition of the reporters and all people with access to deadly agent be reasonable for protection of public?
If I went to Harvard Law I could tell you why feds get to steal my money to pay someone and deny they did anything wrong. Is this so they don’t have to discipline bosses? Other people’s money, gotta love as Danny Devito said.
