OK. True story. I know an unemployed chronic alcoholic who was semi-homeless and when his dad passed on, he inherited the house that he grew up in that was bought 50 years ago, which he now “lives” in. Now his property tax is about $500 a year.
In October he was stressing b/c he didn’t have the money to pay the property tax and was contemplating selling the house!
Somehow he managed to pay the part installment, whether he stole, borrowed, begged or gave blood, an unemployed, chronic alcoholic managed to pay his property tax on time.
