Oh, leave the Fed alone. They and their cohorts at the IMF and World Bank in no way influence world affairs. Just because in their job description they are supposed to protect from asset bubbles and when examining their actions they clearly exacerbated the bubble does not mean we should investigate them. Why should the US investigate a private firm that they contract to perform a task after it fails tremendously at the task. It’s ridiculous. I mean they just make the money, it’s the countries that decide how to use it. They are harmless and should not be looked at. Really, the power to make money is nothing. It’s not even an important job, anybody could do it.
