Of course values are going to go down, because people paid too much. The Values are going to go down to what they should be. Government intervention will only artificially inflate values, causing harm to the young and driving them out of the over priced cities like San Diego. That will eventually hurt those cities as their work forces leave for affordable housing. Look at the decline in school enrollment in San Diego over the last 5 years.
