Of course, I personally would have preferred to keep it in the old location, but didn’t get a say in it, either.
That being said, it’s not just 100 homes, and the other LC station has increased areas to cover to the north. Trust me, people who have far more knowledge than you and I about call volumes and zones have made this decision for reasons you and I don’t necessarily know. If you don’t like the new location, take it up with them. I just resent the fact that you (and others) always try to bash “boots on the ground” public sector workers for things they had no control over.
