Intermediate and long term bonds have turned out to be a great investment for 30 years. I just looked to see if I could find any average annual return numbers and couldn’t find any that go back that far, but I suspect that a bucket of bonds over the last 30 years probably have had an average net yield of somewhere close to 10%.
That bull market is probably close to over. But it’s demise has been predicted for 20 years.
