No matter where you live there will be richer and poorer, also if you leave the coast I guarantee you will probably miss the ocean even if you hardly ever went to the beach. San Diego is really good if you are already a homeowner, if I were a renter I would definitely be considering moving. Having an affordable place to live is stress reducing for a lot of people.
