Hi SD Realtor, thanks for your response. I’ve read many of your other responses and appreciate your experience. We have placed an offer on a short sale, but its taking so long that I’m not holding my breath for it. We’re continuing to look and hoping that something comes up in the meantime.
I went into this process totally uninformed (still am, mostly) so when the right house pops up, I want to jump on it. I want to know which area in Encinitas would be best for us to focus our search on with our budget- max $700,000.
I know, I know everyone wants us to wait. But sometimes the right time personally isn’t the right time market-wise, everyone has different priorities. Buying a house for use is much more than a business decision (you can be sure i’ll never own an investment property). My hubby and I are both new doctor’s trying to late-start on a family, we are buying within our means and are ready to put down roots. My biological clock is way stronger than any real-estate predictions 🙂
