The location is truly fantastic. Some of the homes actually get oceanview on a clear day. On days when the coast is covered with marine layer, Stonebridge is basking in the sun. On days the inland is suffocating in stifling heat, Stonebridge cools off from the constant ocean breeze.
Shopping is equally convenient. UTC is 20 min away straight down Miramar. Fashion Valley also 20 min away as well. If the planned high end mall at Scripps Poway and the I-15 goes through, that’ll be just 10 minutes away. Within 10-15 minutes you get Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Filipino, Indian, Middle East and Vietnamese shopping options of your choice. Costco and Home Depot are both in less than 10 minutes. Prefer more ghetto shopping options? Plenty of that in Poway also just 10 minutes away.
Yes, some of the homes do have bad powerline view. Just avoid those as you would in any other neighborhood. That’s just common sense.
