The map. It has one of the highest unemployment rates in the country — and California looked like it was worsening well before most other states. I know a lot of it is in the Central Valley because of the agricultural workers. I think they have an average of 10% even during the good times. Still, you’d think we’d have one of the lowest rates considering the fact that our state has so much money.
