My wife and I found some realitively nice lots just off the freeway a while back, decided against it because we live near a freeway now and it is not conducive to a good nights sleep. No experience here about building but I wouldn’t attempt it unless you have a lot of cash and patience. Encinitas is a beautiful area and is not ruled out for us.
