My parents had 3 kids. I was the oldest. My parents bought a house when I was 9. They sold when I was 12. We rented again until I was 16. I think it more important to have a stable household, attentive, caring and loving parents. It didn’t matter to me that we were renting. That was not a factor at all. When you’re a kid, there are so many other things that are important. A house may be important to a parent, but kids care if you are part of their lives and support them, teach them to ride a bike, come to their football game, music class, etc.
