My neighborhood is extraordinarily friendly. You drive through my community and people are always out walking, running, kids playing, pushing baby carriages, talking to each other, saying hi to strangers, looking out for each other, sharing life events and more. It is wonderful, I love it. There arent many places like it here but there are some.
