My car will be 18 years old this summer and it looks and runs like a champ. Just had valve cover gaskets, pcv valve and spark plugs, etc replaced again, etc. It’s cheap to insure and tag and ready for another long road trip ;=]
Hail to old cars! Break out the paper maps and trunk-mounted CD magazines!
I also have “old, ripped, paint-splattered shoes” but they are reserved for painting, weed-pulling and mowing” (due to not having an HOA or gardener, lol)!
