Much like how “racism” is being hyped in every case where a black person is involved, the “sexism/harassment” thing is wearing thin, as well.
Look, there are lots of awkward, inept men (and women) out there who have no idea how to ask a woman (or man) out on a date. Just because they’re inept doesn’t mean they are trying to sexually harass anyone.
If they are turned down and refuse to stop, or if they threaten someone’s job, etc., then it’s a problem, but let’s not make more of something than it really is. I’m sure many of us have had a boss (or two, or three…) try to pick up on us. Lots of guys are pretty gross when they try to pick up on a woman. Just tell him to knock it off and, if he’s married, threaten to tell his wife if he ever does anything like that again. Then, get on with life.
Why did all these women wait until now to come out of the woodwork? The timing of this is very suspicious, IMHO.
Everybody wants to be a victim these days, and it’s getting really, really old. People need to stop being such wimps.
