Montero is a lower quality home for that area. There is nothing wrong with orange peel texture or ceramic tiles, it just doesn’t belong in a luxury home. Most of the other builders model their homes with hard wood and natural stone flooring and use Mission Style texture on the walls. Montero just has a cheap feel to it compared to the other homes in Stonebridge. Cornerstone is also the builder for Tiburon in Stonebridge. Tiburon on the other hand is well done and one of my personal favorites.
I still think that Localguy and the other buyers that purchased the last group of Scripps Preserve homes got a great deal and there is nothing like that available at this time. Montero is asking more then what they paid and is not in the same league. I would have to say that you could probably get the best deal under 900K from Calabria at this point.
