I never say the truth is not painful. It is, in a way, the inconvenient truth. Think about it, when you have 200 elders lining up for social security paycheck but you only have the money to cover 100 people, what would eventually have to happen to keep the balance?
1. Get more money.
2. When 100 of them are no longer in the line.
People can say there are many alternatives to defer the payment, extend the ‘due’ date? But, really, at what cost? From whom are the money coming from? The next generation, the next-next generation, or the next-next-next generation.
