There are good areas of Clairmont and there are definitely bad areas of Clairmont. I have several friends who live up there and they’ve noticed quite an increase in crime over the last 10 years. Most of the nicer areas of Clairmont have historically been the “Mt’s”: streets such as Mt. Alifan.
For that much money, you could probably rent a house in Grantville/Allied Gardens (the neighborhood that I live in). It is much more consistent than Clairmont.
