ltokuda – What a great analogy. I may have to use it to explain to some people why I think the higher end may lose some ground. It makes sense b/c the high end participated in subprime as well.
Ncorrigibile – I can speak for myself. Pretty conservative. Have not lost several hundred grand either. Admire that you are not afraid to take chances. Sometimes wish I could be more aggressive that way. Not for everyone, certainly not me. I enjoy sleeping at night too much to do it. In the end, I subscribe to the tortoise and the hare. Taking my time, in no hurry, playing it safe, get there eventually, enjoying the crawl, slow and steady.
