Let’s see, they want you to drive over to the NAS at El Centro every other month for two or three days, while maintaining your “workload”, whatever the fuck that means in the unquantifiable world of government employment. Travel and Per Diem will be paid, and there won’t be a manager there supervising you. Sounds like a paid vacation.
No government employee bashing? Why not? You’ve obviously spent your adult life in an environment where maximum effort is only expended in avoiding decision making, and actual accomplishment. Hell, you’re probably not even technically qualified to do your job.
I’m a little surprised that they haven’t hired a contract employee to perform this oh so distasteful task. That is the custom when the guvvies won’t do their work.
