I’m not here to sell homeschooling. Some kids do extremely well with homeschooling, and some don’t — just like with regular schooling. Some parents love it, and others hate it. It’s a personal decision, and I’m not at all saying that one way is better than the other. It’s just that homeschoolers tend to get a bit (too) defensive when the “socialization” issue is brought up, because most homeschooled kids are very well socialized, even if they are non-conformists. 😉
