Circumstances might also be different. Maybe some people were in school during the incline and now out of school w/jobs during this decline. Maybe some didn’t have kids during the incline and now do. Not knowing all the details (and I don’t want to know) it’s difficult to make judgements.
We know we are over the hump and going down the hill, some areas faster than others. Heck, some streets faster than others. I’m pretty sure this is not going to be a V, so for those of us who can handle the pressure and wait, it can’t hurt, except leave a fence imprint 😉

Same here, if I found something that made sense to me I think I would jump in, knowing that there is still declines in the future, my wife and I waited a few years before moving here to buy because we knew we were moving. We then got here and waited this out too, so the itch is getting hard to scratch on the fence, but it’s still not so bad to get into something that doesn’t pencil out as much as I would like it to.
Call me in December though, when it is yet another year I’ve been waiting if inventory doesn’t pick up and foreclosures aren’t hitting the street, I might be more prone to act instead of waiting forever to see what happens. Well.. if inventory picks up I’ll also get off the fence.. I guess in Dec it is happening either way? lol
