I’m sure after looking at a ton of homes, you sorta know within 1-3 minutes of walking into a place if you can even consider a place home so if you’re ready, start looking now and just find a place you really like for the long term.

Thanks, that is so true – that is hard to find something we like, and that after a while you know right away if the house is something you will be happy with (in itself, barring unseen issues like foundation) – and if we love something we are very likely to jump on it and be a bit impulsive – and compromise more on price/commute probably.
