jstoesz, LISTEN TO jennyo. “She” DIDN’T EVEN LIVE IN SD when she was growing up. Valley Center is situated in the FAR reaches of the county. Remember your Shelter Island “live-aboard days.”
The ache to return to a place like SD rarely subsides. It just gets locked away in your psyche somewhere only to rear its ugly head years down the line.
I know you gotta go to your new job now. Perhaps you will find a way later to return, with the ability to buy a place you and your spouse will be happy living in :=)
