It’s just a reference to the video posted that shows alternative means of transportation ie more walker-friendly. While any exercise is good, 20 minutes on a treadmill only burns off an apple. Agree, if you want to lose weight, diet is the #1 way to do it. Exercise mostly tones things up and makes everything look better. While it burns calories, most people I know end up eating more if they exercise a lot to “make up” for the burned calories and to “feed” their muscles. It’s almost counterproductive in some cases as far as weight loss goes, IMHO.
Not to say that exercising shouldn’t be done, just that people shouldn’t rely on it to lose weight, and they shouldn’t expect to be able to eat a lot more just because they are exercising.
