I’ve actually noticed a big decrease in traffic on the 5, and this happened before the kiddies got out of school. I think people started doing the math, and realized that it just cost them $4.50 to return that $12 shirt at Target. They’re realizing that much of their driving is unnecessary, or trying to combine errands. On many days I can cruise north past Del Mar at 60+ just after 5pm. That was unheard of a few months ago.
