It’s funny sometimes to read the debate of which is better, married w/children or free and single. I do agree w/dave WRT not having to touch the burning stove to know it’ll hurt. I always wanted to have a kid, but it wasn’t in the cards. I can see what my friends go through. Good and bad. It touches my heart to see them hug each other and say they love you. I also see when they are out of control and are prospects for The Omen. Those are moments when my friends envy me. When they even confide in me and tell me they know they’re never supposed to say it out loud, but sometimes they regret having the kids. But if you ask them if they’ll do it over again, many will say yes.
Then you have people who somehow manage to do both. Charlie Sheen has kids and living a bachelor lifestyle. Making money for playing himself on a tv show. He had it all. Then he had to go fly too close to the sun and burn himself. You gotta know the alcohol destroyed a few too many brain cells. Dumba$$. He had it so good. Why push your luck. Now he’s got the kids taken away and fired from the show.
