It’s dumb to pay for a $599+ phone with a $70 dollar plan. Without high speed data, without GPS navigation.
That’s $2,300 US dollars + tax = almost $2500.00 for 2 yrs. That’s dumb investment, my friend.
I don’t care how ‘cool’ the phone is; it’s still dumb to waste money like that unless you are really rich.
Instead, if you invest $2,500 in stock, given the long term avg stock market return 10%, in 15 years, your $2,500 will grow into $10,443 USD. The opportunity cost for the enjoyment of your new iPhone for 2 years is at least $10,000 dollars, is it worth it? Heck NO.
