It’s a personal preference. I am totally dislike kitchens open to the living/family area. It stinks up the house, especially if it’s a 2 story one. Plus I hate for my guests to see us cooking. unfortunately I haven’t seen one to NOT be like that until I saw one in Montemar which I really fell in love with. I am actually glad to hear that smaller ones – which is what I am looking for – have separated kitchens. I haven’t looked that much in CV, except at small towhnouses.
