It IS a pain, brian. Get a gizmo to play with/read while you pull a number and wait in lines … that is, after you’ve already submitted plans, filled out copious forms and enough cash has been extorted from you to pay the annual heating and A/C bill on all the temp bldgs/trailers in your local elementary schoolyard :=]
