I’m not really up to date on Obama’s current definition of “rich”, but my best guess is $250K.
I have to say I’m confused by your concern about sustainability of income paired with buying a house to stem that. Unless you’re talking about paying (mostly) cash, that is. If you’ve been saving all that up while you’ve been renting, then good for you!
