I’m looking in nicer areas along the central coast and I have not really noticed rents come down at all. The place I was renting for the past 3 years in Rennaissance was due to increase to 1850 for a 2/2. I moved, found a cheaper place w/garage, but not nearly as new and nice, for 1700. Found out the unit I left got rented for 2250!!! WTF. So not worth it, no matter how nice, for an apartment w/no garage. Looking to maybe find a nicer, cheaper place, but it’s not happening. Don’t really like this place, but I have a limit how much I want to spend on rent.
