I’m also curious, how much skill does it take to write an offer and follow through? I would also like to know how many hours are spent on it. Sorry, I bought my place when it was FSBO and feel I got a great deal with no agents involved, only an escrow agent. Came in 7% below appraised value back in 1998. The escrow agent made sure we followed practices like termite inspections, title clearance, etc. I have no experience using realtors but wonder what they do and how it would benefit me. I still don’t get it. Please outline how an REA helps a buyer, and how many hours are spent to justify 6% of the sale.
