If history is any judge, Tesla will ultimately fail because some other company comes along, improves on their technology and displaces them. Then the same thing will happen to that company and so on. I forgot the number but I think there were over 50 car manufacturers at one point (maybe more). Car manufacturers, technology… it’s very tough picking long-term winners. I just hope the technology improves. I’m just glad there are lots of folks willing and able to lose all of their money on stuff like this while the rest of us reap the benefits over the long term.
