If gas is the demise of this country’s middle class, then we’re idots for depending on oil too much. America’s biggest problem is the middle class is under educated and doesn’t see the light. When people can’t afford gas, they think to themselves.. “what the hell is we gonaa do pa” instead of acting and realizing that we need to invest in our mass transit system. This country is last in so many ways. Being able to drive a Ford 350 down the street doesn’t make us whole or #1. It means we are weak and are unable to adapt to change. In San Diego alone, if you took all the funding that has been put into HWY’s since 1970 and spent that on mass transit, gas prices wouldn’t phase us.
So middle class, if you think a democrate is going to destroy our country with $10 gas, then you are mistaken. Our country and it’s caveman priorities will be the downfall of our country.
