I wouldn’t say it was all greed, when we first moved here in the middle of the boom my wife and I just wanted to have a place to call our own. Everyone acted like the crazy loans were the way it is done out here and no one can afford a regular loan. So we almost got involved in the same chaos, after bidding on a condo and the sellers being jackasses and wanting crazy prices I did some research and found piggington. If the bid went through I would probably be in the same boat as many, even though my ambitions were never about greed.
While I am actively looking, and any type of moratorium really pisses me off, I can’t help but feel bad for some of the people this is happening to. We have always been fed from parents, media, etc that housing is the best way to establish yourself. So many tried to do that even if it took a crap loan.
Then there were others that took multiple loans and sh1t like that, and I believe they need to be thrown out on their asses without remorse. Yet you have to feel for some of the people this is happening to.
