I wasn’t arrested but was given a citation and a notice to appear in court. They confiscated the lobster (I’ll bet they ate it) and threatened to confiscate my gear. Thank goodness I wasn’t arrested, after reading the way cops treat their detainees.
It ticked me off because there were tons of lobster down there, I only wanted one and it measured right to me (while measuring it underwater, with a light in one hand, in the surge). I only had the one, but got the same plea deal as the guy who had a truckload.
