I was in Las Vegas reading a newspaper article about Robert Goulet’s wife bitching about the fact that “Robert is a big star and should not have to resort to four walling”.
I asked my girlfriend, who hails from Las Vegas, what a four waller is. She said generally speaking it refers to a “has been” star who has to pay to play-they rent the showroom, sell the tickets and organize all the grunt work needed to fill the seats.
I thought to myself “what a tragic-and humorous lifestyle all at the same time!”
