I used to live on 76 when it was “Mission Ave” or “slaughter alley”. When I was a kid you rarely even needed to look before pulling out onto Mission Ave. Anyone else remember that!
I think we’ll see the same amount of congestion as more people will use that route to connect to the 5 for people connecting to areas near like Del Mar/Solana Beach/Carmel Valley.
What they really need is a connecting train to the Oceanside Coaster station. I guess the 78 train seeks to do that but haven’t seen how much it’s helped traffic as I’m out of state now.
