I think it’s his children, wife, and some other close associates that he’s trying to protect. He’s pleading guilty to all charges, but at the same time he’s lying to the judge when he says that he acted alone.
There were tons of account statements, forged trade confirmations, etc., going back years. It is impossible for him to have “worked” alone in this Ponzi scheme.
