I never said he had to try to change jobs, just apply (to the point of being offered a job) and see what the process is like. And if he thinks it’s such an “easy” job that just about anyone could do, then he should have no problem being accepted. Not saying he has to take it, just see if he can even get accepted if it’s so “easy.” Even if he would so some more research, maybe talk to some of the HR people to see what it’s all about, it would probably give him a new and more informed perspective.
After reviewing my previous comment, you were right to call it out. I wasn’t clear enough about just getting to the point of being accepted/offered a job without having to take the job.
